Using the tools of the Law of Attraction, you can achieve your health goals and transform your well-being. Many people want to improve their health in the areas of fitness, happiness, stress reduction, or healing from illness. It is all possible.

Wellness is Our Natural State

We are meant to be healthy and well, both physically and mentally. Inside of you is an intelligent system that beats your heart, breaths the air, and runs all of your organs and brain functions. You are not consciously doing these things, and you don’t even know how to do them. You did not bring yourself to life. It was all done for you.

Trust in this miracle of your being. Use the Law of Attraction with affirmations, visualization, and meditation to reconnect with the source that already runs through you, and always has.

Getting Clear on Your Health Goals

You probably already know that in order to reach most goals, you must be very specific in knowing what you want. One common example is in the pursuit of weight loss. Instead of declaring “I want to lose some weight”, we must be very specific about the “what, when, and (sometimes) why”.   It’s better to say “By March 30th, I will weigh 145 pounds, so that I can take the extra stress off of my knees and heart”.

Go Ahead, Set “Unrealistic” Goals

This is going to sound contrary to what you’ve heard, but I believe in having big, crazy, seemingly “unrealistic” goals.  The key here is to make the steps manageable.

It is not unrealistic to want to drop 100 pounds. However, it is unmanageable to do that by next week. It is not unrealistic to want to heal your chronic illness, but you need to keep your steps manageable to keep positive momentum in seeking remedies.

Here is another secret for you. Only share your “unrealistic” goals with special people, or simply keep the goal to yourself. There is scientific research that shows verbalizing a goal can actually dissipate some of it’s energy. Keeping it to yourself keeps all of the energy inside and available to you.  In addition, many goals are very fragile in their seed stages, so sharing them with unsupportive people can be detrimental as the Law of Attraction is working to help you achieve. 

Easy Steps, Big Results

Determine the steps needed to achieve your goal. The Law of Attraction will bring the resources and support to your awareness, but there is no law or phenomenon that can lose weight for you.

The little known trick to guaranteed success is to take steps that you know without a doubt you can easily achieve. For example, instead of putting demands on yourself such as “I’m going to work out as hard as I can for 1 hour every day”, you will want to set a super easy goal such as “In the morning at 7:00 AM, I will go for a 15 minute walk.” After that walk, you can set your next goal. Start small and work your way up. Little victories have a huge impact.

Be aware that if you make an agreement with yourself to take that 15 minute walk, it is not advisable that you walk for 1 hour, even if you feel up to it. In the future, you may not trust yourself when you promise yourself that the easy goal will be easy. You can simply set your next goal to be a 20 or 30 minute walk. Then stick to it.

You can set some milestone goals into the future, and attach a schedule for reaching  them. Just make sure that they are achievable. Some people like to set rewards for themselves too.

Using Affirmations and Visualization for Health

Affirmations, visualizations, and vision boards will enhance the manifestation of better health. Affirmations are statements of “truth” that you write down and say to yourself when imagining that you have excellent health right now.

Visualization practice involves closing your eyes and imaging, with feeling, that the goals you’ve set for your health are happening already. Vision boards are a graphic collage of images, quotes and other aspirational items that you glue to a poster sized board to make a “big picture” of the health you desire.

Set aside at least 15 minutes a day to review your affirmations and vision board, while visualizing that what you want has already arrived. In essence, you are rehearsing your good health in advance.

If you’re not familiar with affirmations, they are simply statements (declarations) you make about yourself that are “true” in this moment. Here are some examples of affirmations you can use for yourself. It helps to see yourself in a mirror when saying them, but you can always just say them in your head at any time during the day.

  • There is an intelligence in my body that knows how to heal me              
  • My intelligent body operates on its own without my input
  • Wellness is my natural state
  • My natural beauty and health radiates from the inside out
  • I am good enough as I am
  • I approve of and love who I am in this moment
  • I have everything need to be healthy and strong
  • I have an inner wisdom that is always with me
  • I was born perfect and I am who I was meant to be
  • Every day I am getting healthier and closer to the body I imagine
  • I am fulfilled with healthy foods
  • I can imagine my ideal body and take the steps to make it happen.
  • I am confident within my own skin and body.

If you have any doubt about the value of introducing and practicing internal beliefs, consider the importance that placebos (sugar pills) play in the health industry when testing new drugs for effectiveness. Many people become “cured” by simply believing that they’ve taken a pill that will cure them.  We can begin to believe healing thoughts on our path to optimal health.

Visualization & Meditation

Meditation expands the practice of Visualization. Deep relaxation and meditation have been proven to have positive health benefits. Meditation can reduce the stress chemicals in our bodies, strengthen our immune system, lower blood pressure, and relieve tension in our muscles.

The Law of Attraction states that a strong visualization and mediation practice can form an energy field that you can use to  return to a natural state of wellness.  Our bodies naturally conduct electric currents and emit both waves and heat. There is a constant exchange of energy within and outside of our bodies.

Visualization of good health can be as simple as imagining that you are inside the theatre of your mind, walking onto the movie screen of your life, where you are the fit, radiant, healthy star. Be sure to imagine all of details, including color and sounds.  

Feel yourself choosing healthy foods, engaging in fitness activities that are fun, and getting quality rest. Envision yourself having zero interest in any of the habits that have created your current condition up until this moment.  Engage your senses of light, sound, taste, and touch.  Imagine being inside of your body encouraging healthy cells, strong muscles, and vibrant energy. Enjoy the process

Make sure you stay associated with yourself, meaning that you are in the body you are envisioning, not just watching it.

If you want to eat healthier foods, imagine the crisp feel of fresh fruits or vegetables, with the flavors bursting inside of your mouth. Imagine the aliveness of the nutrients as they travel through your body and see your cells bathing in radiant wellness. When you imagine resting, feel the soft pillow against your face as you lie down to sleep. Imagine the texture of the sheets, and watch the day’s events flow away from your body to dissolve into the dark night above, as you surrender them to the Universe.
